John Lee Fulcher started his CPA firm in Millen, Ga., in 1991, opened an office in Waynesboro in 2007 and now serves more than 1,600 clients across the country and in the Central Savannah River Area of Georgia, which includes Augusta.
The firm provides highly personalized service to businesses and individuals coupled with knowledge-based competence and experience in protecting and maximizing their assets for greater success. Lee Fulcher grew up in Waynesboro and earned his BBA in Public Accounting from Georgia Southern University in 1989. He joined an accounting firm with offices in Louisville, Swainsboro and Wrens after graduation and honed his skills for two years before opening his own practice.
He served as controller for the city of Millen, Ga., from 1994 until 1997 and as chief financial officer for a franchisee of 24 Huddle House restaurants from 1997 until 2006. He currently serves as secretary of Fulcher Station, Inc., a Waynesboro-based publishing and real estate company. Being a business owner has enhanced his ability to understand the needs of businesses of all sizes.
Lee served a two-year term as president of the Georgia Southern Alumni Board and has been a member of that board since 1998. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is also an avid fan of NASCAR and college football and loves to travel when his schedule allows.
